Forlam-Rail, a new division of Forlam Group , is mainly involved in the trading of railway material. This includes products manufactured by the Group such as fishplates and glued insulating joints, but also rail accessories products (lag screws, bolts, fasteners, tie bars…) or even rail lubrication systems, buffer-stops, ballast resin…
After a stake acquisition in 2021 of Transalys MDV (now called Forlam-Rail France), a company specialized in the distribution of railways equipment in France, a joint venture ALMAR (a collaboration between Forlam and the Austrian company Martin Schienentechnik) was created the same year for the manufacturing and trading of insulating joints.
This strategic partnership allows the Group to offer a complete range of equipment to its customers and to position itself as a global supplier of solutions, distributing both in France and internationally, an extensive range of railway components.
By relying on these two areas of expertise, and thanks to the complementarity of equipment and products adapted to every single country, Forlam-Rail reinforces its position as an European leader in the field of fishplates for railroads.
Reducing the carbon footprint of our business is one of our priorities. Through our initiatives waste, such as reducing our water and electricity consumption, our environmental impact on the planet has been reduced. Today, for example, the use of recycled raw materials for our rail joints reaches 100% and most of our waste are recycled in the steel production cycle.
To be able to respond to the specific requests of our customers, Forlam-Rail offers through its subsidiaries and partners a wide range of products and is constantly adapting in order to be able to offer solutions adapted to the railway market worldwide. For each Project, a solution is proposed. Innovation and customisation are the best answer with products perfectly suited to their needs.
