On the back of nearly a century of expertise in steel forging, FORLAM group is today a world renowned specialist in precision stamping. FORLAM’s expertise relies on its two specialist companies, Bourguignon Barré and PreciForge. The combination of teams, products and processed materials complement each other and enable FORLAM to offer a complete range of forged, machined and assembled products, as well as a full range of ready-to-use products.
These precision products are made to measure in order to meet particularly demanding specifications, and are exported to more than 40 countries throughout the world. The Forging sector of the business represents between 60 and 90% of annual revenue, varying by year and by company.
FORLAM’s Forging expertise was recognised in 2021 by the BPI France Excellence certification. The Group is extremely proud of this recognition and this is an encouragement to share its experiences and good practices within an active company network, to support the growth of the French economy.
Reducing environmental impact is one of FORLAM’s priorities and has been for over 10 years. FORLAM’s commitment in this domain has allowed for considerable advances, as much for recycling and waste reduction as for better managed energy consumption.
